These terms of use and delivery apply to the general use, delivery, and payment in the Gusta design online store, and govern the relationship between the customer and Gusta design in connection with the purchase of products.
By using the online store or placing an order, the customer accepts these terms and agrees to comply with them. Before using the online store or placing an order, the customer must carefully read these terms of use and delivery.
These terms, together with the order placed by the customer, constitute a binding agreement between the customer and Gusta design regarding the purchase and delivery of products.
Placing an order requires that the customer is of legal age and has full legal capacity.
ORDER AND PAYMENT
The order is binding for both parties. The product is presented in the online store, and all necessary information has been provided to the customer. The customer is always given the opportunity to view the product in person at Gusta design's premises, as well as to request additional information and/or images of the product.
The customer will receive an order confirmation by email to the address provided during the order process. The order confirmation includes the information provided by the customer, such as name, address, phone number, and any other details submitted. The customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of this information, as Gusta design cannot be held liable for incorrect details. It is the customer's responsibility to notify Gusta design of any errors or changes as soon as possible after placing the order.
The customer pays for the product through third-party payment services available in the Gusta design online store at the time of purchase and agrees to the terms and conditions of the chosen payment service provider before completing the payment, or directly to Gusta design via bank transfer or invoice.
Paytrail Oyj serves as the payment intermediary and service provider in collaboration with Finnish banks and credit institutions and is an authorized payment Institution. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement and forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website the payment was made to.

The customer agrees to the terms and conditions of Paytrail Oyj that are in effect at the time of the order.
The customer agrees to the terms and conditions of Klarna Bank AB that are in effect at the time of the order.
PRICES OF THE PRODUCTS
The prices displayed in the online store are valid until further notice. Gusta design reserves the right to change prices or correct incorrectly stated prices at any time without prior notice.
The products are subject to margin taxation, and the applicable VAT rate is 0%.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product availability and delivery information are accessible to the customer before placing an order. Gusta design does not guarantee the availability of products listed in the online store. The same products are also available for purchase at Gusta design's physical location, and in the case of simultaneous purchases, in-store purchases take precedence over online orders.
Gusta design reserves the right to change the selection of products in the online store at any time without prior notice.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
All orders are subject to the right of cancellation in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, under the conditions specified in these terms.
The customer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days of placing it, as provided by the Consumer Protection Act. After this period, the customer no longer has the right to cancel the order.
Cancelling an order is free of charge for the customer, with the exception of any delivery or return shipping costs incurred. The customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs, even if no separate delivery fee was charged when placing the original order.
The customer is also responsible for properly arranging the return of the order to Gusta design.
The customer must notify Gusta design in writing of any return or cancellation within 14 days of placing the order. The returned item must be sent back to Gusta design within the stated timeframe.
The customer must decide whether to keep the product before using it, and the item must be kept in the same condition as it was upon delivery. Once the returned order is received, Gusta design will inspect the item to ensure it is in the same condition as it was at the time of sale and that it has been carefully packaged for return.
If the returned item is not in the same condition as it was at the time of sale, or if it has been damaged during return shipping due to careless or insufficient packaging, Gusta design reserves the right to charge the customer for any loss in value, up to the full original price of the order.
The right of cancellation does not apply to orders that have been permanently modified at the customer's request, such as custom upholstery or any other alterations made specifically according to the customer's wishes.
The customer also acknowledges that failing to collect or accept delivery of the order does not constitute a valid cancellation or return. In such cases, where no cancellation or return notice has been provided, the customer will be charged for all costs resulting from the unclaimed or undelivered order.
When the customer cancels or returns an order in accordance with these terms, Gusta design will refund the full amount paid for the products, excluding any original delivery charges, using the same payment method the customer used when placing the order. The customer acknowledges that the original delivery charges are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or return.
DELIVERY
The customer selects the delivery method or collection from Gusta design's premises during the checkout process. The delivery fee is automatically calculated at the time of payment based on the weight and dimensions of the order. Delivery costs are clearly displayed in the shopping cart before the customer proceeds to payment.
Please note that some orders may be partially or fully disassembled prior to shipping to facilitate packaging or transportation. The customer acknowledges that certain products may be delivered in parts, and it is the customer's responsibility to assemble the item upon arrival. Gusta design is not liable for any damage caused during assembly after delivery.
Orders are typically dispatched within four (4) business days of the order being placed. Occasional delays may occur, for example due to high demand or holiday periods. In the event of any delay, Gusta design will inform the customer as soon as possible.
FORCE MAJEURE
Gusta design shall not be held liable to the customer for any damage or delay caused by a force majeure event. Gusta design is not responsible for delays, failures in delivery, or other failures to fulfill contractual obligations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, which are unforeseeable and exceptional, and which could not have been prevented or overcome with reasonable effort (force majeure).
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, fires, war, pandemics, government regulations, strikes or other labor disruptions, transportation or logistics issues, interruptions in energy supply, or other similar events.
In the event of a force majeure, Gusta design will inform the customer as soon as possible and will make every reasonable effort to minimize the impact of the delay or disruption.
ISSUES AND COMPLAINTS
The customer is required to notify Gusta design without delay of any defect or issue concerning the order or product by sending a written notice to aleksi@gustadesign.fi.
The customer is responsible for handling the product appropriately. Any damage resulting from improper use or negligence is the responsibility of the customer.
The products sold by Gusta design are vintage and pre-owned. They naturally show signs of wear, use, and age-related patina. Even restored items may include areas where visible signs of previous use remain.
Product images and descriptions are not fully comprehensive or detailed, and signs of wear or patina may exist that are not visible in the images and/or described in the text. The descriptions and photos are intended primarily as informative guidance to help the customer evaluate and consider the product before purchase. Additional information and/or images are available upon request from Gusta design. Customers are always welcome to view the products in person at Gusta design's premises.
Product details—such as the name of the designer or manufacturer—may not always be definitive or complete.
Gusta design is not responsible for potential discrepancies in product appearance caused by color variations on computer, phone, or other device screens used to view the online store.
If the order/product is lost or damaged during transport, the customer is required to report the issue without delay in writing to aleksi@gustadesign.fi. If the delivery was handled by a third party, the customer must also file a written complaint with the third-party courier in the event of damage or loss during shipping.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Gusta design is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages that may result to the customer from the use of the online store or the purchased products.
CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Gusta design reserves the right to modify or update these terms of use and delivery by publishing the new or revised terms on the Gusta design website.
The updated terms will take effect immediately upon publication on the website or in the online store. By continuing to use the online store after the updated terms have been published, the customer agrees to the changes.
