Solid Teak Table Lamp – Denmark, 1960s
A beautiful Danish vintage table lamp from the 1960s, featuring a solid teak base and timeless Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design.
The lamp's rich, warm teak tones and beautifully visible wood grain highlight the natural character of the material. Its slender cylindrical stem rises from a substantial circular base, with softly rounded edges and carefully balanced proportions creating an elegant, sculptural silhouette.
A large, light-coloured fabric shade complements the warmth of the teak and gently diffuses the light, creating a soft and inviting atmosphere. The classic tapered shape of the shade brings a sense of balance and understated sophistication to the design.
Perfect for a living room sideboard, bedside table or reading corner, this lamp combines functional lighting with the beauty of a carefully crafted wooden object.
A timeless example of 1960s Danish vintage lighting, celebrating natural materials, simple forms and the enduring appeal of Scandinavian design.
